Social Activities

People enjoy spending time together. We want to encourage the positive relationships that build and strengthen Sheffield’s community life.

We have Gala Days at the centre once or twice a year and are aiming to have a Friday evening event, often a film, every month. We have a range of groups meeting regularly, bringing together people around a common interest.

Your Art

This is our very popular art group.

Come along to develop your artistic talent alongside others with a wide range of experience and skill. Liz started the group in her home with one or two friends back in 2011, shortly before we had our centre open. The group has grown and grown and produced some amazing pieces of art.

For experts and novices alike – for anyone who wants to have a go at releasing their creativity in good company: “it feels like a family”.

  • Water colours, acrylics, oils. Canvasses and other materials are supplied.
  • No charge, though donations to cover costs are welcomed.
  • Wednesdays, 12 noon to 3pm, Hanover Hall.
