Social Activities

People enjoy spending time together. We want to encourage the positive relationships that build and strengthen Sheffield’s community life.

We have a Gala Day arranged for Saturday 1 September: fun for all the family, starting at 1pm. We would love to be packed out with people. Rosie is looking for many volunteers to help on the day with setting up, taking down, manning the Cafe and Cakes, Crafts, Bric-a-Brac stalls, games etc. Call Rosie on 07973-411059 about having a Table Top Sale or helping in any other way.

Here are some of the groups that regularly meet at the Jesus Centre, bringing together people with something in common. For all

Knitters and stitchers; Budding artists; Men who like a cooked breakfast; Women who “do lunch”; Parents and tots; Memory cafe; other events:

Your Art

This is our very popular art group.

For experts and novices alike – for anyone who wants to have a go at releasing their creativity in good company: “it feels like a family”.
